To access your User Settings page , while logged in, click on your user name on the top menu bar to the right, then click on 'My settings'. There you can edit your first name, last name, cell number, password, and turn on or off '2 step authentication'. Your current password is required for any changes.
About 2 step authentication
Two step authentication is basically:
1. Something you know. (In this case your username and password)
2. Something you have. (We'll send a text to your phone to receive a second code)
Two-step authentication is an optional security feature for your Scan123 web account login. Two-step authentication requires you to not only know your password but to also HAVE your cell phone with you to receive a verification code via text message. Even if someone knows your password they will not be able to log in without physical access to your cell phone. Help keep the bad guys out of your account by using both your password and your phone. (For US customers only.)
About your password
Your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one letter (uppercase or lowercase) and one number. We suggest you use a strong password combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and a special character or two, ( ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & _ ) as company policy. Remember that is is your responsibility to protect your company data. A strong password helps.
How to help a user reset their password

Point your browser to app.scan123.com. In the top menu bar you'll see the help tab on the right. Go ahead and pull it down and select 'Reset your password'. This is going to take you to a page where you'll be able to reset your password. What we're going to do is email you a reset link. Go ahead and put in the e-mail address that you use to log in with and push the reset password button. We will have sent you an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password. In a couple of minutes, go look for that email. It should be from 'firstname.lastname@example.org'. If you don't see this e-mail right in your list, you may need to check your spam folder. Make sure that you white list this email address from Scan123 for the future. Now just go to the message and click on 'yes, reset my password'. that's going to open up a web page that's going to allow you to reset your password. Go ahead and enter your new password. Here is why is it important to use strong passwords. Now just follow the directions on the 'reset my password' page. That will let you back into your account. That's really all there is to it!
